Why do you need to program Ctrl-U onto > F9? I don't /need/ to. I do it because I /can/. But given I may have used f9 as U thousands of times..... But because, um, it's also easier to press one key rather than two. U is not always easy single-handed on this cluttered desk. As I do not spend the majority of my time writing words, so to speak, I more often have one hand on a mouse, and only one hand free for two keyboards.
