Installing Mathematica on redhat "Extras" fails

I tried to use the 
sh Mathematica_9.0.0_LINUX.sh 
command and I get the following: 
"Extraction falied. No space left on .16813"
What can I do? I definitively have enough hard drive space... Any help would be appreciated.
