Back then, a 500M drive was considered quite large. I had a couple of drives which I broke up into about 9 partitions, to keep the cluster sizes small, for Windows, OS/2 and Linux and used OS/2 to perform the tape backups. If memory serves, I had the tape drive for about 2 years when suddenly hard drive sizes went through the roof. -- Harry
