For actually using as a shell, bash may be better depending on the port. 
I have at least 4 ports here, each with their pluses and minuses. For 
running configure scripts, perl stuff and anything else that calls for 
sh, [pdk]sh.exe. Helps sometimes to have it installed in \bin
