Works for me with Samba server for eCS (http://trac.netlabs.org/samba)
and Linux Mint 17.3 as client. As well as back from eCS EVFSGUI to 
Samba Server on the Linux machine. smb.conf file comes preconfigured 
and needs few adjustments only.
