I simply don't have the time for two weeks of my wife shrieking that some legacy program she cant do without no longer works, or the money to replace the $6000 of software that's on that machine. Owning a MAC is like owning a Jaguar. As long as money is no object, you and the mac dealer will get on just fine..but there are no low cost options ..;-)
