Okay, you've maybe convinced me. Actually, I was already convinced before buying the Brother MFC-J6920DW, but the problem (at that time, ~2016) I needed an 11x17" tabloid with an 11x17" scanner. Indeed, the scanner's still what I really need. So, you got a color laser recommendation that satisfies that requirement? And, of course, a good linux (slackware, in particular) driver.
