As a side effect of using the Verizon wireless network I don't think my IP remains the same for more than a day. Another bonus is the IP maps to Denver or sometimes SLC. That does add some additional steps if I want to find out if an item I'm looking for is in stock in the Home Depot a few miles down the road rather than one hundreds of miles away.
