Like zypper 'dnf' which replace yum is used rather than rpm. re: Wayland. The openSUSE install defaulted to X11. It was subtle but Klondike in the KPatience package seemed a little off when the cards were moved. I logged into a Wayland session and it was smoother. Again, subjective and very minor.
