The high school had lockers with built in combination locks. The lock was also keyed for the convenience of the maintenance staff and I manged to get the key. That was convenient since there were unused lockers where I could stash stuff rather than carry it around. The locks also had internal sliders to set the combination and I figured out how to change them after disassembling the lock I removed from an unused locker. The elevator was for the use of the faculty and handicapped students and also had a key I obtained. The prank was to hit the emergency stop between floors but with enough room to manually open the door and slither out.
