I downloaded OpenSUSE Leap 16 and tried to transfer it to a USB stick. It was an older stick with a vfat format which can't handle 4.2 GB. I had to format it to exfat. (extra fat?) The Tumbleweed download is a lot smaller since it immediately phones home to get the other 4 GB. Damn Small Linux is still under a gig. Puppy just about 1 GB.
