I also abandoned gnome on version 2, I think it was. Years ago. They changed the paradigm, I voted with my feet. But hate? No. SUSE, the enterprise version, only ships Gnome. They consider that the paying enterprise clients prefer gnome. And have been doing this for many years. The KDE offering comes from the community instead. -- Cheers, Carlos E.R.
