Do you know how many new DEs were created when GNOME3 arrived? I've never used MacOS but as I understand it Apple people are right at home. GNOME2 was bad enough, I'll come right out and say it. I want a DE to look like Windows XP or Windows 7, not something that belongs on a phone or tablet.
