I was only pointing out that ip presents information I've never need up to this point in my life. I will admit I like 192.168.1.102 better than fe80::e8fa:7f5c:da23:aa05. I suppose with enough fucking around I could get sftp to work with IPv6 on my LAN but I see absolutely no reason to.
