That's what sold me on Reagan. He said something like 'I don't know about

After Ike and Mamie it seemed like a breathe of fresh air -- like Obama.

I remember reading that at the time. The John Birch Society was handing 
them out and campaigning for Goldwater. 'Landslide' gets thrown around 
casually, but '64 can't be described any other way.

I don't know how Kennedy would have handled the Vietnam pig in a poke that 
Eisenhower left him but Johnson turned it into a debacle. Between that and 
the civil rights crap passed on his watch his legacy lives on.

That's an asshole that when photographed lifting his beagle by the ears
