Yeah, the raccoon climbs the tree and then does an airborne assault on the feeder, generally managing to know it to the ground. One winter a flock of wild turkeys showed up and were foraging around under the feeder. While they can fly they prefer not to so I got them a seed block. The deer thought that was great so I got them their own deer block. Neither of those were necessarily legal since there are restrictions on baiting game animals. That was the only winter the turkeys showed up. I think it was because of more snow than usual. The deer are a constant. I have a composting lawn mower so the deer shit adds to the quality.
