There's nothing wrong with dnf5 but I'm not fond of the Fedora KDE 'Discover'. It seems very slow and I use it very seldom unless I'm window shopping. I have Synaptic on the Ubuntu box and rarely use it either. Usually I know what I want and install it from the command line and do the updates and upgrades from the command line.
