I've always admired Edison and have visited the museums in New Jersey, Ohio, and Florida. I'm not sure the Ford museum counts although it claims to have a test tube with Edison's last breathe. Edison was a tireless experimenter short on theory that came up with many practical solutions. Tesla had many theories, many of which didn't pan out. I even think his understanding of the Tesla coil was a little vague.
