ast year a freak derecho took out a lot of power lines here. I got to sit 
in the sunlight and read for 6 days. Relaxing. Water was a problem since 
no power means no well pump. Ultimately my electricity comes from hydro 
dams on the Columbia built by the BPA.

July, no big deal. January would be entirely different.
