The last ones I used were in an IBM 5120 from 1980 and a Mostek Z80 development system from '79. I never had one but the early S-100 bus CP/M computers used 8" too. There may have been others but North Star got their start with a 5" drive package. They were a pain since they used hard sectors. There were a bucket load of CP/M soft sector formats but you could read them by tweaking the floppy controller.
