That they do. In the small Maine town where I was living other than the Catholic church there were two social organizations -- UU and AA. There was some overlap. Stephen King doesn't necessarily always write fiction. It's a personal shortcoming but I prefer something like 'The Catechism of the Catholic Church'. This we believe, this we don't believe, this is not covered by doctrine, with footnotes and references.
