When I did the Patch Tuesday update on my company laptop yesterday I did notice it was flashing a new Intel update. I've always favored AMD and my newest boxes are Ryzen 7s. With Intel seemingly trying to commit suicide in a very messy fashion I wouldn't buy a new machine with 'Intel Inside'.
