I skip the pad. I admit I sometimes stand in the aisle of the grocery store with a 1000 yard stare while I try to work out the nagging feeling I'm forgetting something. I sometimes do the same in hardware stores and it sometimes gets a 'Can I help you?' from a clerk. I decline. The most recent case was when I noticed the litter box was a little too small for the cat. I knew that Home Depot would have a suitable litter box someplace but it wouldn't be called a litter box. The cat approves of her new under the bed storage box or whatever it was supposed to be. Bad enough I talk to the damn cat; I am not going to talk to Alexa.
