We bought a Mac Mini at work to compile an app for IPhones. The form got me interested so I bought a Beelink as an experiment. It has a AMD Ryzen 7 4700U so it is more powerful than some of the cheaper offerings with the Intel N150 processors. The experiment worked out well. The iPhone experiment, however, was shelved. Intel definitely took inspiration from the Mac Mini and now a number of companies are copying the concept.
