That definitely applies to me. I was always that kid in school where the 
teachers would say 'but he's not living up to his potential.'

otoh the valedictorian of my college class gave her speech, got her 
diploma, and went back to the dorms and tried to kill herself. I think she 
spent 4 years overclocked and finally went into thermal overload.
