I currently feed two. One has been coming around for a couple of years and the other showed up this summer. In both cases it took a long time before I could get close enough to pet them. Neither like sudden moves nor will they come into the house. The older one did come in once to look around but the other won't cross the threshold. I've no ideas what their histories are but I don't think they were good.
