I had my yearly physical Monday and my doctor is happy with my cholesterol. with the HDL well over 60 mg/dL and LDL toward the low end of the scale. My vegetable intake is mostly garlic and onions, fried in olive oil, with two eggs and a slice of cheese. I did eat a yam yesterday with a slice of rib roast. Last week I made a batch of Jaegerkohl which at least has cabbage along with the bacon, kielbasa, and ground beef. Onion and garlic, of course, and I even threw in a couple of carrots. I don't dislike vegetables but I seldom remember to buy any. Except onions and garlic. Are you seeing a pattern here?
