Ah, found it! https://github.com/auge8472/My-Little-Forum-1 On the forum.opensuse.org of several years ago, when it was running vbulletin, threaded view was a pain, because you could not detect which posts were new, and which you had read or not. In flat sorted (by date) order it was clear: you had read till post 35, say, so 36 was new. You just read them in order.
