Don't think anybody is 'going' anywhere. BUT, somewhere in the middle, I'd REALLY like a LOT more "understanding" of how The Machine works. BUT, barely 250 years into decent sci/tech, we're already at the practical limits of what human intelligence can calc/cope. VERY distressing. The picture even 100 years from now - wow ... it'd make a good sci-fi terror flik. MAYbe the 'Blade Runner' films kinda paint the picture ... the 'real' and 'unreal' and 'tech-magic' all blur. Nobody has a CLUE about the whats/whys anymore. And we're back to 999-AD again ....
