I dunno, but back in the 50s, when sea water poured through the main hatch of the submarine I was on and soaked the Loran gear mounted for some reason below it, I removed the electronics, washed them under the faucet with fresh water, and then had the cook put it in the oven for a while. Worked like a charm thereafter. I'd at least try drying the motherboard out thoroughly and giving it a try. Who knows?
