I sometimes fear that these days with computer science degrees, and less diverse backgrounds, something has been lost. =/ That is why I enjoy teaching at vocational schools. There you can still get people with the most diverse backgrounds who became interested in technology and want to switch careers. That can yield interesting perspectives!
