Clues to which is at fault weren't obvious enough for a very quick fix, but anyway the init system isn't a suspect. One day I might get bored enough to resume that detective work, and eventually find a simple fix, but the point was that I don't need to worry much about it in the first place. The imprortant stuff still starts with X, and extra gadgets like Conky still work on the old systems I use most of the time. -- __ __ #_ < |\| |< _#
