I'm curious whether this is a regional or US-vs.-Commonwealth thing, but it's certainly the first I've ever heard of "bourse." (Though the connection with "bursar" is interesting; that's not common in US English, but is at least one I'd encountered - even before getting into the Discworld novels.)
