It's definitely a non-trivial application. But you only asked about "simpler," which is vague and hard to quantify, and gave no other criteria. ABS is certainly time-critical, but it's also a matter of a couple sensors and fundamentally linear physical forces; is that more or less "complex" than full 6DOF spacecraft navigation?
