It's one thing to hyper-focus on your particular way of working when building a thing for yourself (and, by extension, people like you,) but when your expressed aim is to replace a whole huge chunk of infrastructure used by countless parties in any number of use cases and yet you refuse to consider other people's needs, you deserve a hearty whack from a clown-hammer with the hilt inscribed: MECHANISM, NOT POLICY.
