Not surprising; Windows 11 is an absolute pig, worse even than 10 (which you can at least trim down with a little effort.) 8 GB is barely enough to run the OS itself without swapping, and four threads/cores is the absolute bare minimum - it's utterly unusable on a Core 2 Duo.
