So that=E2=80=99s progress, at least. What I said, specifically, was that I don't like needless glitz in UI design and it's a source of consternation to me when such things can't be turned off. When it's just something somebody threw together as a goof and it's not being pushed in my face, and when it's actually gone from memory when not enabled (or, better yet, I can just delete it off the disk altogether,) I have zero complaints. FSN, as ridiculous as it is, gets a pass from me for all the above being true. I've got *much* bigger things to get worked up over in the field of bad UI design.
