(I have a couple Alpha boxen I could run it on, just haven't gotten around to it.) =46rom what I've seen looking at overviews/screenshot tours, it strikes me as one of those systems that's heavily tailored and likely very nifty for one specific use case or workflow, much like Plan 9 - I prefer a user environment that's more generalized and agnostic about what you're doing to one that's hyper-focused on assisting with the *doing* part, when what I actually *want* to do may not be the thing it was designed to facilitate. (My overall philosophy of computer interaction: I want something simple and consistent in the mechanics so's I don't waste mental energy having to *think* about how it works, and beyond that I'd prefer it to stay out of my way and just let me work. All other things being equal, I'd *also* like it to be aesthetically pleasing.) But this is, admittedly, first impressions from a distance; should really get around to trying it sometime.
