I did a hunt through some likely places on my Linux installation, looking for files or directories which have ACLs attached, just to test some software of mine. And there doesn’t seem to be a lot on a basic Linux installation. The systemd journal area has some, as does the LXC container-building cache. But nothing else, at least in /var, /etc or /usr, that I can see.
