Database is the one thing most seriously hampered by small memory and 
slow I/O. Yes historically it was a spreadsheet driving the large MS-
DOS machines. But here and now I have and regularly use many (new and 
bloated) sheets in the low tens of kB region, fine for 8080. But not my 
databases. Take adresses, and data can't get muchsmaller than just an 
address and a few phone numbers. My address base is 150 kB, the list of 
journal articles I read and may want to refer back to again is 
currently 3.6 MB and growing. So even given a strong interest in the 
CP/M generation of machiones, a database would be the last thing to run 
on them.
