Applications for travel support will be evaluated based on merit, potential to contribute to research in software engineering in the U.S., and potential to increase the diversity of the pool of software engineering researchers in the U.S. Students not chosen for the NSF Travel Award will be automatically entered for consideration for the SIGSOFT CAPS awards. College and university students at all levels and early-career faculty are encouraged to apply.
