Same model as mine, but more modern. A few months ago I bought an AAwireless dongle, so now that plugs into the car via USB, and effectively converts the car to having wireless android auto, so when the phone comes within range of the dongle it connects, usually by the time I've unlocked the car you can see the status LED change colour and by the time I've sat in, put on my seatbelt, android auto with map open is running ... brilliant device. > I just plugged it > and it connected, no questions.
