Instead of trying to use capitalist software that prevents you to use it, choose to use freedom software, that comes with all the sources, and gives you the freedom to copy it, use it, modify it, distribute it, etc. To study smalltalk, use Squeak ! https://squeak.org It's a very nice Smalltalk implementation.
