I've always worked in corporations where the email "culture&= quot; is the
Microsoft-induced "lazy and stupid" style as you describe. =C2=A0= And yet
when I respond with editted quotes and interleaved repies like this I
consitently get nothing favorable comments about it. =C2=A0Some people have=
even asked how I do it -- though they don't seem to adopt it.

Yep - the problem is that you usually have to fi= ght against the tools to do it. It's worth the effort, but it can be re= ally hard when you've got an already existing top-posted email thread w= ith people using bizarre fonts and colours throughout.
