Much as I deplore IDLE on Windows, I still presume that a subject of "Idle Problems" is not using "Idle" in the sense of wasted/unproductive time, but is the environment being used. If so, then I'd tend to assume "recently loaded" means an editor window in Idle. I will concede that "the code comes up briefly" is confusing, since using the Idle "run" command shouldn't be bringing up any code -- just some output (error or normal) of the program in question and then vanishing when the program finishes. Now, if the OP meant something else, then yes, more information is needed...
