I have not seen any evidence that this trend of yours is widesp= read.
The Python code I come across seems pretty normal to me. =C2=A0Expressive a= nd
readable. =C2=A0Haven't seen any attempt to turn Python into Perl or th= at

Would it really be so bad to just use an if statement?=C2=A0= Why are we assigning somevar to itself?=C2=A0 This sort of thing was strew= n across 3 or 4 physical lines at a time.
