26 May, 2025 - Release 1.4.0 of the Iron Spring PL/I compiler is now available. The major enhancement in this release is support for array operations for non-adjustable arrays. The %REPLACE statement has also been enhanced to allow replacement text to be more than a single token. A new compiler option "-ln" will add statement nesting information within a procedure/block and DO-Group to the listing, to assist in fixing missing or extra end statements. Other enhancements and bug fixes are identified in the documentation. http://www.Iron-Spring.com
