I've just had a very quick look through all my posts here in cljp
and AFAICS this is my very first actual 'technical' question here (well, 
apart from one about PayPal which was a matter of desperation given that 
their 'technical support' is a farce). I'd be interesting to know which 
posts you were referring to so I don't make the same mistake in the future.

I was actually trying to understand the term 'static class' in the 
context of a discussion about Singleton classes. It is apparent from the 
replies that my question was valid.
