No, it isn't.  It's the solution.

The usual scenario is that a plenitude of options makes for better
results.  A dearth of solutions is usually a problem, particularly if
such a dearth encompasses only limited or unsatisfactory options.

Feel free to provide a chain of reasoning based on evidence for your
assertion, though, and an alternate solution.  You are more than
welcome to be helpful.
