Despite the similarity in names, Java and JavaScript have nothing to do with each other. Nevertheless, my first guess is that the "ID" you're getting is the name attribute of the field, and not the actual id field. document.getElementsByName may be more up your alley. -- Beware of bugs in the above code; I have only proved it correct, not tried it. -- Donald E.
